Hydraulic fitting

Hydraulic fitting

This is the name given to the fittings used to hermetically connect to the hydraulic hose, or any other component of the hydraulic circuit.

There are two most common types of hydraulic connectors:

  • Crimpable connectors: these are those that can only be assembled once, are permanent, safer and more reliable. They are two types:
    • Pre-assembled: Where the ferrule comes permanently stapled to the shank.
    • Two-piece: Where the shank and ferrule are independent of each other.
  • Reusable connectors: are those connectors that can be used more than once and are installed using basic tools.
