They come in two materials:

 

  1. CELLULOSE BASED

 

Vegetable Fiber paper is a cellulose based soft gasketing material used for sealing against water, oil, fuel and etc.

 

Features:

  • Good resistance to contact with oils and fuels.
  • Resistance to high temperature work.
  • Gives good strength and durability.
  • Good flexibility and elasticity.
  • Recommended working temperature of 120º C.

 

  1. CORK

It's made from cork with rubber inserts. It is an excellent material for gaskets and other industrial applications.

 

Features:

  • High compressibility and flexibility.
  • Wide range of fluid compatibility.
  • Moderately resistant to fungus, acid, and weather conditions.
  • Resistant to fluid penetration.
  • Reduces transmitted vibration levels, sound insulation.
  • Good for low bolt load applications.
  • Non-slip and impact resistant, shock absorbing.
