Industrial hoses

Industrial hoses

What are industrial hoses?

Industrial hoses are flexible conduits/tubes. They are made of rubber or rubber.

What are industrial hoses used for?

They are used as conductors, suction or help to discharge fluids and solids. Examples are: air, water, oil, wine, etc. They are widely used in sectors such as construction, mining, food industries, agriculture or garden and swimming pool maintenance.

What types are there?

It is somewhat delicate to classify the industrial hoses, one of the reasons is depending on the chemical material and the technical, technological development of the interior and exterior of the hose.

This material is very varied, these can be of:

  • Rubber.
  • PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
  • Silicone
  • Polyurethane
  • PTFE or Teflon

Perhaps, the best classification of industrial hoses could be:

  • Water: Its function is the suction, discharge and conduction of water.
  • Air: Its function is the transport of air with or without pressure.
  • Gas: They transport vapors or gases (oxygen, nitrogen).
  • Food industry: Wines, oils, milk, etc.
  • Aspiration: Sawdust, dust, smoke, etc.
  • Hydrocarbon: For oil, diesel, gasoline.

But, as we have already mentioned, there are many different ways to classify them, another way to do it’s by application:

  • Firefighting type.
  • For water.
  • For compressed air and pressure.
  • For fumigation.
  • For gases and welding.
  • For gardens.
  • For fuel.
  • For food products.
  • For steam.

How do we classify them?

Our priority is to be able to offer the best product, at the best price and above all, to meet the expectations that our customers place in us, that is why we classify them as follows:

  • Rubber and canvas
  • Polymers
